SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
Last Updated: October 1, 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to products purchased through SureSecured's website or other applicable online sales channels operated by Sure Secured USA LLC ("SureSecured," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Certain installation projects and custom products may be governed by a separate written contract or order agreement. Where a signed contract contains different shipping or delivery terms, the signed contract controls.
1. SHIPPING LOCATIONS
We currently ship eligible products to addresses within the United States.
Certain products may not be available for shipment to every location because of:
-
Product size;
-
Weight;
-
Manufacturer restrictions;
-
Carrier restrictions;
-
Installation requirements;
-
Local requirements;
-
Product configuration.
If an order cannot be shipped to your location, we will contact you regarding available options.
2. PROCESSING TIMES
Orders are generally processed after:
-
payment authorization;
-
order verification;
-
product availability confirmation.
Standard products may generally ship within:
7 business days
unless otherwise stated on the product page, quote, invoice, or order confirmation.
Processing times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless a specific guaranteed delivery date is expressly stated in writing.
3. CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
Certain SureSecured products may be:
-
Custom fabricated;
-
Made to order;
-
Configured for a specific property;
-
Manufactured according to customer measurements;
-
Ordered specifically for a project.
Custom-product production may require additional time.
Estimated production time will be provided in the applicable quotation, order confirmation, or project agreement.
Once custom production has begun, cancellation or modification may be restricted because the product may no longer be suitable for resale.
Any applicable custom-product cancellation terms will be disclosed before the customer is committed to the order.
4. SHIPPING METHODS
Available shipping methods may include:
-
Ground;
-
Freight;
-
LTL freight;
-
Expedited shipping;
-
Manufacturer-direct shipping;
-
Local delivery;
-
Scheduled delivery.
The available shipping method depends on the product, destination, size, weight, and other factors.
5. SHIPPING CHARGES
Shipping charges are calculated based on factors such as:
-
Destination;
-
Product dimensions;
-
Product weight;
-
Quantity;
-
Shipping method;
-
Freight requirements;
-
Special handling.
The applicable shipping charge will be displayed or communicated before the order is finalized where practicable.
6. FREIGHT DELIVERY
Large, heavy, oversized, or palletized products may be shipped by freight carrier.
Customer may be responsible for:
-
Providing a suitable delivery location;
-
Ensuring someone is available to receive the shipment;
-
Inspecting the shipment;
-
Reporting visible damage;
-
Providing access for delivery.
Unless expressly included, freight delivery does not include:
-
Installation;
-
Inside delivery;
-
Carrying products upstairs;
-
Removal of existing products;
-
Debris removal;
-
Specialized rigging;
-
Crane service;
-
Placement beyond the carrier's standard delivery service.
7. DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Carrier delivery dates are estimates unless a guaranteed delivery service has been expressly purchased and confirmed.
Delivery may be delayed because of:
-
Weather;
-
Carrier delays;
-
Transportation disruptions;
-
Manufacturer delays;
-
Customs or regulatory issues;
-
Incorrect addresses;
-
Customer unavailability;
-
Product shortages;
-
High shipping volume;
-
Other circumstances outside SureSecured's reasonable control.
8. ORDER TRACKING
Where tracking is available, SureSecured may provide a tracking number by email, text message, customer account, or other communication method.
Tracking information is supplied by the carrier and may not update immediately.
9. INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
Customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
If an order has not shipped, we will attempt to correct an incorrect address when reasonably possible.
If an order has already shipped, additional carrier charges may apply.
SureSecured is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
10. LOST SHIPMENTS
If tracking indicates that a shipment was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should contact SureSecured promptly.
We may work with the carrier to investigate the delivery.
We may request information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
11. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Customers should inspect packages and freight shipments as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.
For freight deliveries, customers should inspect the shipment before signing the carrier's delivery receipt whenever possible.
If visible damage is present, the customer should:
-
photograph the packaging;
-
photograph the damaged product;
-
document the damage on the carrier delivery receipt where appropriate;
-
contact SureSecured promptly.
Do not discard damaged packaging until the claim has been evaluated.
12. CONCEALED DAMAGE
If damage is discovered after delivery, notify SureSecured as soon as reasonably practicable and provide photographs and other requested information.
We will evaluate the claim and coordinate with the carrier or manufacturer where appropriate.
13. SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS
Certain products may require an adult signature or other delivery confirmation.
If a signature is required and no authorized recipient is available, the carrier may attempt redelivery or hold the shipment according to its policies.
14. INSTALLATION DELIVERY
Delivery of equipment does not necessarily constitute installation.
Unless installation is expressly included in the order or written contract:
-
delivery is separate from installation;
-
installation is the customer's responsibility;
-
additional installation charges may apply.
For installation projects, the applicable written project contract controls.
15. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED MEASUREMENTS
Where a custom product is manufactured according to customer-provided measurements, the customer is responsible for providing accurate information unless SureSecured expressly performs and accepts responsibility for the measurement.
Errors caused by inaccurate customer measurements may result in:
-
additional manufacturing charges;
-
modification charges;
-
replacement charges;
-
additional shipping;
-
installation delays.
The applicable order or contract will determine responsibility for measurement.
16. DELIVERY OF CUSTOM SECURITY PRODUCTS
Because many security products are customized for a specific property, customers should carefully review:
-
Dimensions;
-
Configuration;
-
Color;
-
Hardware;
-
Swing direction;
-
Opening size;
-
Finish;
-
Accessories;
-
Other selections
before approving production.
Once production has begun, changes may be impossible or may result in additional charges.
17. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Unless specifically agreed to in writing, SureSecured does not guarantee international shipment availability.
Customers are responsible for applicable customs requirements, duties, taxes, import restrictions, and other governmental charges where applicable.
18. REFUSED DELIVERY
If a customer refuses delivery without a valid reason, additional shipping, storage, return, restocking, or handling charges may apply where permitted by the applicable order and law.
Custom products may be subject to different rules.
19. RETURNED SHIPMENTS
Products returned to SureSecured because of an incorrect address, refused delivery, or customer-caused delivery failure may be subject to:
-
Return shipping charges;
-
Restocking fees where disclosed and legally permitted;
-
Additional shipping;
-
Storage fees where applicable.
Custom or made-to-order products may not be returnable except as required by law or expressly provided in the applicable agreement.
20. INSTALLATION APPOINTMENTS
For products purchased with installation, shipment and installation may occur on different dates.
Installation appointments may be rescheduled because of:
-
Weather;
-
Product delays;
-
Permit requirements;
-
Site conditions;
-
Customer availability;
-
Installer availability;
-
Safety concerns;
-
Conditions outside SureSecured's reasonable control.
21. DELIVERY DELAYS
SureSecured is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
If a material delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an updated estimated delivery date.
If applicable law or the customer's written agreement provides a cancellation or refund right because of a delay, that right will apply.
